Anyone who regularly consumes inexpensive alternate history novels becomes used to, and fairly tolerant of, poor editing...but this edition of Mr. Boyington's trilogy (it's a trilogy, right?) stretches that tolerance. Much of this book seems to have been an excuse to list the names of endless notional ships, and then briefly detail their actions. There is SO LITTLE dialogue betwixt humans in this book, it became a little numbing. All of this said, it's certainly a fun story! I enjoyed Lincoln Sneezed, and I look forward to the next book in this series!Product details

Book is written as group of short stories strung together. Plot line jumps around in an attempt to combine stories.
Very interesting series. Probably a bit optimistic for the USA but highly enjoyable
2nd great book in the series. America continues to grow in strength and fights new enemies. All based on Lincoln not being assassinated. Can't wait for the next book.
A good alternate history book - perhaps a little too much assumption that the U..S. would have ship technology that no one else would have, but still a pleasant read.
Alternate history is amazing direction that so little people can follow. I love this series on how well it views a change in history. Most would make a change in the civil war about the South winning thus changing the world. I’m glad Here though that the author just needed on man to sneeze to change our course of history. Politically, geographically and amazingly accurate. I pray this author continues his work in alternate history.
Mr. Boyington does it again. At a relentless pace, he sketches the world that develops after the failed Lincoln's assassination. Without the harshness of the reconstruction, a reunited nation, now growing and prosperous. Must meet the challenges of superpower status.
I have enjoyed both of the books in the series by Mr Boyington. He creates a reasonable alternative world. I have quickly read through both books and eagerly await the next book in the series to come out to see where he is going next.
